After buying my 90 gallon tank, getting it into the car, out of the car, in the house, and down to the basement, I wondered how much that thing weighed...

I found the following numbers for weight of glass. Glass composition can very somewhat but I imagine they are reasonable figures to use if you wanted to estimate your tank (or one you would like to get).

.125" 1.7 lb/sqft
.188" 2.5 lb/sqft
.250" 3.4 lb/sqft
.312" 4.2 lb/sqft
.375" 5.1 lb/sqft
.500" 6.7 lb/sqft
.625" 8.4 lb/sqft
.750" 10.1 lb/sqft

So my 90 weights about 150 lbs, if the bottom is also 3/8" glass. Does anyone know if that is accurate? The bottom is tempered which I don't think would affect the weight of the glass, but I don't know if it would be any thincker than the sides or not...
