Just a reminder don’t listen to podcast’s while doing tank maintenance. Yes, I had my ipod in my breast pocket and yes my :fish: got to hear Rob’s voice for a couple of seconds. :wall:
It's enough to burn you up!!:fire: :grrr!:
Thank goodness I got the protection plan.
OMG.. ya know.. i have almost had that EXACT thing happen..
maybe i should have a disclaimer in the beginning of the show..
"dont listen while working on your tank unless device is secure".. lol
not to make light of the situation, i know that sucks, and they are expensive.. best of luck and i hope the protection plan gets you a new device ASAP

I had a similar experience...listening to the podcast, pulling fists full of hair algae from my seahorse tank and drinking stoli's vodka. The iPod fell to the floor ONLY because I let go of the vodka (which fell into the tank) and deflected the iPod from going in the tank.
Ah well... saved the iPod and had an unintentional experiment with Vodka Dosing :)

That stinks. I had a close call myself and now try to be vigilant.

grab some old crappy computer speakers and mount them in your stand! leave the plug long enough to keep the ipod in a dry place and plug the jack into the ipod!
no more wet mp3 players

I just use my iPod Joggin clip and put on my Bose Noise cancelling headphones. Which is probably not a good idea since those things can drown out city noise and I can't her the water overflow the bucket when I'm using my RO/DI LOL

Cut back on the perfume and make-up as starters. Stop demanding flowers and insisting on waiting until she opens the door for you. Stop having headaches on a nightly basis, quit complaining about the toilet seat being down. Try those for a starter and she'll stop complaining about the toothpaste cap and give up control of the TV remote control. :rotfl:
