came home from school today and went to feed my 20g nano. and i only saw my sixline and one of my true percs.... i thought.. that there was no way that "she"<i think> would have jumped... but sure enough i checked behind the tank and there "she" was...:( my hood used to be tight fitting but i took the front half off for more gas exchange at the surface.... and now one of my first 2 fish is dead...:'(
kody, sorry brother, jumpers really suck. dirrecting an outlet towards the surface can increase gas exchange 10fold, as does a small fan or air pump outlet placed in the cavity in the hood. as long as you can allow it to escape your fine. a screening material might be needed to protect your tank futher from jumpers. its a damn shame, it really is. loses are hard when your growing attached to them!

Koby,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. I hate it when something like this happens.

Sorry to hear :(
Are you using glass lids or eggcrate?

It's just the plastic hood for the fluorescent light that came with the tank

Have you thought about trying eggcrate?
Fish can still jump through it, but less likely and you get the oxygen exchange.

In the lighting section at the hardware store. Just ask them for it and they can show you.

Really sorry to hear the news man, clowns are really hard to lose, especially when they are one of only a few fish.
My condolences

Hey there
I'm sorry for your loss. I lost a jumper too this Summer. I didn't think clowns could jump, they barely can swim. I'm really sorry.
