No way, don't give up that view! I had a pretty decent view for a townhouse (backed to woods and in front a field accross the street) but gave it up for a bigger house. Now I see other houses and the interstate. I am going for a view like yours when I retire.

Victoria
10-12-2006, 04:27 PM
NaClFinatic: I not giving up this view, I will be selling it for a ton of $. I did however buy another view in AZ. My back yard has a view of the Verde River. It's a much smaller house but it will be payed for. I think thats a good trade. This is the most beautiful place I have every lived, I truly am blessed.

Sunny and mid 70's. Going to the beach with the dog today. Hope I don't get sunburned. :rotfl: We do get snow: usually for about 5 minutes every other year!

Sorry my snow-dwelling TR members, had to rub it in. :D I do know what you're going through, having grown up in Maine. I miss the snow and cold weather, kinda. It's only a 3 hour drive away. And an entire day in the snow is usually enough to remind me why i moved away from it! (You're blood thins I guess - I remember running to get the mail through 3 feet of snow - in my shorts with no shoes! I think if I tried that now, I'd make it about 2 feet from the front door before collapsing. They wouldn't find me until the spring thaw!)

u got all them little extras they make for them, i looked at some the new gear they spit out, some funky stuff with a price tag to match! dont know if it would last 5min at a shoppiing centre though before some wanabe joker rips them off to put on their 85 mitsubishi magna lol

JayBeDriften
10-20-2006, 10:51 PM
LOL I hear you Veriann, I had to get the car though because I drooled over it for the past three years since it hit the US market. My friend is also the finance manager and literally only made a 45 doller profit by boosting the price of the alarm system. LOL She is definitely a beast and gets parked in my drive way and covered every night. :showoff:

V
10-20-2006, 10:57 PM
i can understand that, with these cars, although they are getting sexier looking, its not so much on looks but rather performance, they have orsome engines and running gear. given your choice again would you opt for mitzu or subbie with the next generation release?

JayBeDriften
10-20-2006, 11:01 PM
I would definitely say th Mitzu once more. I drove the Subaru which is awesome as well but lacks on the overall package. Subarus are more concerned with a straighline run as oppossed to the mitzu evo which is like a stealth fighter on 4 wheels. I would definitely go with mitzu again hands down.

well, whilst vic is on holidays, im going to hi-jack her thread and populate it with my island! haha
this is tazze, a chunk of australia that we sometimes leave off the map. http://www.dinkumaussies.com/PIC/tasmania.jpg

its a wicked place to visit, only been there once 2 years ago. i was fully stuffed when i came back, cause all we did was play in the waterfalls in the rainforests in the middle of know where or climbed mountains. stunning place, although its like stepping into a time warp cause there all 10years behind us!
http://www.famie.com/australia/kids_photo_album/images/hobart_tasmania.jpg
down town...and i though brisbane was slow lol

i dragged the misses up with me on a 7hour round trip to this mountain on the left, this whole ring of rock is called cradle mountain, smack bang in the centre of tasmania. it took 5hours to get up, and strangly enough 2 hours to get down. being that high i could see a hidden short cut straight down! its damn high, high enough for snow caps. i did consider the one on the right, but considering i dragged the misses on the biggest journey of her life i thought is fitting we make our way back down!
http://www.cradlehighlander.com.au/images/tasmania.jpg
check the views, i did take a 360 deg shot on camcorder, apon getting it home i was alittle shocked as it didn't quite capture the shear hight we were at, although it would take a wally to forget 360deg view like that in one lifetime!

http://www.atn.com.au/graphics/tasmania1.jpg

the place is so green and waterfalls are everywhere.
