hassle someone, cause not knowing how to put it together under water pressure can be costly! hows the unit set-up, walk us through it!
it is tapped into the water line, or connected to the washing machine junction line?>start from there and explain the set-up. alot of folks have RO/DIO units, they will be able to track it with your set-up so far! dadonoflaw 10-01-2006, 05:55 PM it says its a dmax60HiS. it has three big canisters and three tubes a orange one a blue one and a yellow one there is a yellow tube that needs to be connected and the tds which came with the unit. on the tds is two T shaped connections marked in and out. it will be on a faucet in my apartment. i had to remove the screen from it but the faucet connection wont go on there gwen_o_lyn 10-01-2006, 10:57 PM I had to purchase a piece from Home Depot to make my RODI fit my faucet.
It seems like you will need to cut the blue and yellow line to add the T connections.

The yellow tube is connected to my faucet. The blue tube is where good water comes out, and waste water comes out the orange tube. dadonoflaw 10-01-2006, 11:55 PM there are 6 fittings on the front and back of the canisters. 3 on the front and 3 on the back. but it came with all but 2 openings used should those remain unused dadonoflaw 10-02-2006, 12:01 AM by the way thank you for trying to help me i appreciate it gwen_o_lyn 10-02-2006, 12:12 AM Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by "fittings" veriann 10-02-2006, 12:15 AM sometimes i get a real satisfaction helping others, in this case i feel it through gwen. thanks Q, u dont have to go it alone though, jump in guys as i know alot of you have RO units with various set-ups! dadonoflaw 10-02-2006, 01:03 AM the white plastic pieces that hold the yellow orange and blue tubes in place gwen_o_lyn 10-02-2006, 07:45 PM I don't remember attaching the lines to the unit. try using plumbing tape or even a dab of silicone on the threads |
