If I am going to have someone do it, about where should I have them drill the 2 holes?

They can really go anywhere you want them too, on the back glass. Unless you are getting a tank custom made you wont be able to drill threw the bottom, however you can put the holes in the back whereever you want them. Here is a link that says alot about holes in a reef tank
