I can't play the podcast file on certain type of MP3 player, I think it due the encoding format isn't so standard?
So my recommandation is encoding MP3 by 64, 96, or 128kps rather than 80kbps.

Hi wzero,
:welcome: to TR.
80 Kbps should not cause any problems with standard MP3 Players
are you sure the files are audio files, some are video, and those will only play properly in Quicktime.
and as a side note, some of the early files are at different bit rates, you can check the podcast feed to get some of the early shows, i have shows ranging from 64 up to 128 K
