Does anyone have intrest in sending mushrooms through the mail? I Think if we packaged a single or two mushroom in a small ziplock bag and in a envelope with minimal water we should be able to send across the country. The weather seems to be favorable this time of year. I would be willing to send someone a mushroom nothing special but it would be kind of neat to see how it turns out.

As far as I am concerned you don't have to have something to trade if you want one of mine. Just let me know and I will send you something, I have mainly green with whiteish stripes. I will try and post a pic

I just read this post from 2006 as well. How did it go? Do you still have the electric blue ones? How do you get the mushrooms off the rock to frag and trade?

my question is how do you get the mushroom back on the rock.. I've tried everything

I use a little super glue or rubberbands for leathers. You have to dry the surface off and then attach. I usually dip in a fresh container and let the glue set before placing back in my tank. I have heard good things about the underwater appoxy as well.

maybe its the super glue im using.. because it does NOT work.. I tried that (drying everything off first) and 5 hours later the mushroom has moved and was no longer attached

I have found some super glue works better than others. If I find one that sticks, sometimes the glue stops sticking after a while but the coral has already stuck to the rocjk on its own over time.
