Hey there all, i was just listening to the ozone podcast, i have no idea what # it was, but listening to what Rob and Randy were saying confused me, the setup part at least. So if anyone could post some pics of their ozone systemsfor poor old me (and probably others out there) that would be great Thnx

question about ozone, i know it 03 wiil disinffect and cleans your water but will it kill off benificial bacteria such as those which converts amonia to nitrites...... you know.

yes, it can, but if used properly it should not have an overall negative impact on your system

ozone will oxidise anything out of existance that is organic in nature. any free floating benifical bactera will always have a hard time in the water column, cause we employ equiptment like skimmers & O3.
as rob has said, i wouldn't worry, cause once bactera have a foot hold, they spread over the surface of everything! anything free floating is from friction impacts or dead or dieing cells
