I am currently dosing B-ionic but was told to check out Fiji gold.Does anyone have any experience with this product. At the moment I need to raise my alk back up but that's not what I want the FG for.

I have used Fiji Gold before. I wouldn't use it as a replacement for B-Ionic. B-ionic is great for maintaining the balance of calcium and alkalinity levels. If one parameter goes up, dose a little less, dose a little more of the other, etc. Fiji Gold will not allow you to really control the levels of your aquarium as B-Ionic does. When you dose Fiji Gold, you can expect the turbidity of your water to go up and your calcium level to sky rocket.

B-Ionic - daily maintenance of calcium and alkalinity levels.
Fiji Gold - quick way to increase calcium level.
