Gwen I liked your video podcast, I don't know if I could do a nano. The tank looks really nice.

Thanks John. Sure you can do a nano- best to have experience with larger volumes first.

The water level and salinty are a bear to keep up aren't they. I'm afriad I might dose off and screw it all up. I can go a day or two without top off and only see a small raise in salinty. but thats why I did the larger volume so I could have that chance. Anyway my hats off to anybody who runs a nano for a long period of time.:hat:

And yes I have auto top off I don't just do it every few days

I top off FW once per day and I use Reef salt so I don't have to dose anything. I just make sure my water change water is a perfect salinity and temp before I add it to the tank. It's really not that hard. I had the hardest part with temp stability, but that's not issue now.

Maybe someday I will get the nerve and the time to be so diligent

So I guess that makes you just south of me. I have a large sump 250g if you want pre cycled water to speed up the process of setting the 120 up. I will just make up a big water change and we can fill cans to our hearts content.

Post in this forum or others anytime I would love to see this new forum take off.
