Hi Rob,

I think you're doing a great job with the site and the podcasts. I discovered them a couple of weeks ago and I'm still trying to catch up with all of them to where you are now, but I listen to them at work when I'm sitting at the microscope for hours, so you and Matt are very entertaining! Thanks!

I'm having a problem, though, finding the photo gallery and figuring out how to upload photos. I tried to follow you suggestions about going to the FAQ, but the link just opened a blank page for me. Maybe it's that I'm a Mac user??....

Anyway, maybe having a link to photo gallery on the same line that you have "new posts" and "search", etc would make it easier??

Also...I've caught a typo and it catches my eye every time I open your site up, so I've just got to tell you...;)
hope that's okay...

top left corner after "Talkingreef" - it says: www.taklingreef.com, not www.talkingreef.com

Thanks again for all your hardwork and energy!

Cheers,
Christi

Hi Christi,

Welcome to TR!!

There isn't a photo gallery yet... check out this thread about that:
http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174

He is aware of the spelling also, however, he is waiting on his graphic artist to fix the logos....

Hopefully in a few more weeks all the tweaks will be worked out!! :D

yep, gwen about covered it, thanks ;)
im am workign to raise the funds for the photo gallery, and hopefully i will haev that up soon.
regarding the dead link, when i migrated from the old website, to this new system, i imported all of the posts from the old forums. so that link is a refernce to a page on the old site, that no longer exists... sorry about that.

and gwen nailed it on the logo, will have a new one soon, one of our TR members DJGonzo69, takes time to volunteer his effort to do the grahics and logos for the site and the podcasts. he is currently working on an updated logo, and i will get it up as soon as he finishes it. i am using this one in the mean time becuase even with the tyopo its the only one that matched the site layout.

and last but not least, welcome to the community, im glad you are enjoying the shows, please dont hesitate to leave questions for the show, or join the community in discussion.

Super!

Hey Rob, I was trying to upload some photos, but I accidently uploaded two of them twice. How do I delete them if I need to??

Also...you said in your podcasts that you were wanting people to add photos so that you could possibly use some of them for a photo gallery. Do you wnat those posted in our own member galleries?? Do you want them at a higher resolution or is 150kb or so okay?

Super job Rob and getting better every week! :-)

go to the photo, click on it, so it puls up the large view. in the upper right corber there shoul be a drop down menu that gives you the option to delete it.

the ID database i think is what you are refering to, this project has been scapped at this point. i am going to be putting my effort into Reefpedia (http://www.reefpedia.com), as that will be more comprehensive, with great photos, and something that can be used be everyone.
