What are your care & feeding suggestions for Euphyllia paranchora (aka branching hammer)???
I am just beginning with coral.
So far I have xenia, trumpet, mushrooms, & my latest addition branching hammer.

I would be thankful for any info.

yes, the branching hammer...
these are sometimes refered to as moderate care corals, not very hard, but not very easy either.
they will need moderate flow, good calcium supply, and good lighting.. not super lighting but good lighting.

i have found there are a few key things to keeping the Euphyllia genus healthy both the paranchora and ancora (wall hammer). besides lighting and calcium as i mentioned, they need to be securly anchors as if the colony falls to the and the polyp head is put to the substrate, it till likely be seriously injured if its there too long...
so make sure its anchored.
the other big thing is regualr feeding. i usually would feed my colonies when i was spot feeding other corals and anemones.. i would spot feed it whatever i was feeding. clam, squid, mysid, whatever it woudl take. and if its a healthy piece, feeding every or every other week shoudl be good.
