446 veriann 07-12-2006, 09:25 AM just no titanic sketches please folks :D CarmieJo 07-12-2006, 11:06 PM OK, I've added my picture! wwest 07-12-2006, 11:09 PM looks great. love the wrasse and firefish :) CarmieJo 07-12-2006, 11:12 PM It is not really a full tank shot but it is my favorite so far. I have it as the wallpaper on my laptop. im in too, i love the idea.. :)
just need a better pic Scott 07-13-2006, 03:02 PM Pretty cool. I've thought of having the webcam pic as a sig...or avatar. But the pic would be too big for the avatar....and I guess I'm not sure if the "img" tags allow resizing. If not...then I'd have to have my script create a second pic, sized small enough. But I think that would be cool too....different pic as people are going through the threads. wwest 07-13-2006, 03:11 PM yea the plan was to have two pictures, basicly there just a thumbnail.. NM354 07-13-2006, 04:21 PM Thats pretty cool. Amphibious 07-13-2006, 06:58 PM wwest

yes it is, I must get to bed and FW needs a cold shower *like amp would say*!! wwest 07-14-2006, 12:57 AM Actually i think we all need a cold shower after witnessing that lol :) NM354 07-14-2006, 10:33 AM Nice rose bubble Rob, how big is it? Nice rose bubble Rob, how big is it?
its actually HUGE.. but rarely opens up all the way..
its a real love hate relationship with that anemone. i have had it for years, and it has grown from half dollar size to about 8-10" wide. the problem is i have to leave all that realestate open for it so when it opens up it doesnt damage corals..
so as much as i love it, i hate all the wasted space it uses... ;) you haev to put it into your signature, and change "insertbigpichere, to the URL of the full sized image veriann 07-14-2006, 07:48 PM wow, at risk of being an idiot, how do i use that code, ive tried to insert any url in the "insertbigpicspace" and it will just keep bringing up the insertsmallpic in the signature space after i save it! gwen_o_lyn 07-14-2006, 07:54 PM Veriann, you will need 2 links... one for the BIG picture and one for the small picture.
Here are my links: http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/gallery/files/6/2/nano464a_sig_769543.JPG
http://gwen.talkingreef.com/birthday_clipart/nano464a.jpg
If you need me to resize your pic, I can do that. I'm sure I could insert the code in your signature if needed. :)
Does that help? CarmieJo 07-14-2006, 08:01 PM Put your pix on photobucket as a fullsize pix and as a smaller pix (mine is 200x140). Then use the url codes from photobucket where it it says insertbigpicspace & insertsmallpicspace veriann 07-14-2006, 08:05 PM so let me run this past u guys again, same picture, just insert the full size in the big section after the =, then same pic, just resized with a different url in the small section, then bingo, my pie is cooked yeah gwen_o_lyn 07-14-2006, 08:05 PM you got it dude!! :D veriann 07-14-2006, 08:11 PM my picture has been sitting in cold water for to long....lol, look how small it is gwen_o_lyn 07-14-2006, 08:13 PM my picture has been sitting in clod water for to long....lol, look how small it is
but when ya click, or if you are a FW *double click* , then it GETS BIG!! CarmieJo 07-14-2006, 08:18 PM That's it V! veriann 07-14-2006, 08:20 PM thanks guys, appeciate it! now i can have some fun hehe
i can hijack the my space code to the tee,(well, kinda) which is huge, but i have trouble with one line! go figure, some days i just dont feel smart! Liquid Fed-Ex here i come!:agree: bubbletip 08-27-2006, 11:46 AM I know your suggestion was to insert my full tank picture Rob, and I will when it really gets going. Right now there are just a couple bubbletips, clean up crew, and my ten year old clowns. This just seems like a more suitable signature picture at the moment. dont worry, thats not a "hard set rules", just a suggestions or recommendation...
i mean look at veriann, i dont think he has the hulk in his tank.. :rotfl:
BTW, it is a great macro show CarmieJo 08-27-2006, 05:28 PM Bubbletip,
That is a GREAT photo! bubbletip 08-28-2006, 12:59 AM Thanks Carmie, I thought it fit in good for a signature bubbletip photo. :p wwest 08-29-2006, 10:26 PM very nice pic bubbletip. i love macro shots and that one is a great one.. JeffDubya 09-12-2006, 02:09 PM Sorry for being an idiot Rob... is this discussion about something different than the signature pic I can UPLOAD in my User CP? I can't get that to display. yes this was something different. this thread started before that function was added to the UserCP
which are you having a problem with? CarmieJo 09-12-2006, 07:51 PM No or maybe I mean yes. This discussion is about the signature pix that you code in, not the "automatic" box. Here is what my code looks like:
a href="http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/CarmieJo/Tank2-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/CarmieJo/Tank2_small.jpg" alt="" border="0"></a
I removed the < and > on the ends so hopefully it will show up as code and not as an image. JeffDubya 09-13-2006, 01:01 AM Sorry for the complete hijack. I was in a hurry and didn't read carefully enough. I am talking about the image I uploaded. I cannot get it to display. gwen_o_lyn 09-13-2006, 08:14 PM Let me know where the images are hosted and I can take a look at it. I will just need 2 URL's. JeffDubya 09-27-2006, 03:26 AM Did you ever figure this out in all your spare time, Rob? |
