jawfish stuck?

i think my jawfish is stuck under sand....his hole is collapsed in and he hasn't come out....do i do anything?

if you really think its stuck, reach in and pull the rock back.
chances are once you get close to the rock, it will move, either way into the whole, or will shoot out.

if you dont notice anything than move the rock and coax it out

My seahorses and snail cover the opening of my yellow heads hole every night and he is out every morning looking for food. When was the last time you say him?

okay, he is alive....i can see one eye....looks like he is trying to work himself out

he picked the only spot in the tank that has a rock sitting directly on the sand....that rock came down on his hole

i'm gunna give him time to get out....if he seems like he is making no progress, i'll lift that rock out of there

i would nudge the rock back if you can.. just give him some room to get out.
no reason to force him to be stuck in that hole...

LOL....he got out...took him awhile, but he made it....looks no worse for wear.....and immediately started to rebuild....lol:)

dreams, i wedged a couple pieces of pvc pipe into the sand to help support the weight of the rock. i seemed to reduce my jawfish burrow cave-ins.

walrus, all of my rock is off the sand....except for that one area....i added it after the fact & that is where he decided to make his home....the little poop
