Do you guys have some tips on Carnation Corals? Mine just kind of withered away...I know they're kind of difficult, but any suggestions?

cool! I've got a bunch of those white sponges that you and Dave were talking about on the Refugium Podcast. They're all over under my rocks and in the overflow/sump and some of them have even started growing up through the rocks! But, they're not nearly as pretty as blue and purple...

a_iranbodi, they are beautiful. My sponges are dark brown and not nearly so striking!

Nice coral and sponge.

I have lots of yellow hitchhiker sponges that are really pretty.

food, food, and more food. they do better upside down or in caves. pulsating flow is ideal because food is suspended longer. they do okay in cups or refugiums. they do not like strong constant direct flow.

yeah thats good! its a good overview, but in saying that borneman hasn't gone into much detail on how to feed them & ideal placement. he does explain everything, but at the end of the day, he belives they dont belong in a aquarium.
blubber hit the mark though, when u read this blub if u have a link source where u originaly read this u want to pass it to RB
