ok folks..
so as you may have seen i am setting up my 50 gl (36") tank as a frag tank.
may of these corals are going to come from my main system under MH lighting.

i have 2x 250 bulbs bulb i can use here, (have to build a hood).
but was wondering if i should try T5's and thought i would get everyone's input since i have never used T5 before.

maybe something like this
Current USA
36" 4x 39W T5HO w/ 3 moonlights
$180 includes bulbs

or this
Sunlight Tek
36" 4x 39W T5HO no moonlights
$250 doesn't include bulbs
http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=SL-960015&Category_Code=SunlightT5
(this products doesn't make much since after looking at the details, but i thought i would include it

So you are thinking of using the MH's and supplementing with T5's? Or just using T5's alone?

I think using T5's would be greaaaaaaaaaaat!

yes, actually thinking of using ONLY T5.
but having never used them, im not sure if one of these hoods 4x39W bulbs would be enough..

two reasons for this.
one - to not have another dual MH setup going,
two - to get some experience with T5 bulbs

I would love to see what a standard T5 fixture would do, but as far as what u should get, idk- I hope others have some good advice!
