Mine used to sleep behind the powerhead. Now they sleep in a hole they dug in the sand. Here is an old pic.

We were on vacation and my sister-in-law was fish sitting. She called me up all upset because she had gone over after lights out and was sure my clown was dying. I told her it was sleeping but she said it looked really bad and she was sure it was dying. The next day she went over earlier and called me back up to tell me it was swimming around just fine. :)
