I've heard that there is playsand at Wal-Mart that works- you just want to do the vinegar test to be sure. I know the Southdown/Old Castle stuff can be hard to find.

quickcrete is the name of the company. not quick drying concrete.

What is the vinegar test? :-)

You can test for calcium content by putting a teaspoonful in a pint of vinegar, put the lid on and shake well for about 2 minutes, most, if not all should dissolve,. Allow it to stand for a few hours and check back, if it all dissolves, you have a winner.

but with us girls.... it's what we NEED, right Carmie??? ;)

ha ha ha.. you're at it again!
i'm still trying Prez. nobody has ante up yet.

typical excuses:
1)i've already given at the office.
2)Rob who?
3)i don't care what u say about Rob, just get the @$^% out of here!

under these circumstances, it has been difficult if not outright hazardous to collect funds for the ROB FAN CLUB. i suggest changing the name of the club to FREE STUFF but allow all contributions to be still made to CASH, c/o Fat Walrus.......
