scratched glass

Is it possible to remove scratches in my aquarium? They are on the inside.It is scratched from the live rock resting on it.

Generally speaking, no. There was a guy in our club that put hours and hours and hours into trying to remove a small scratch with cerrium oxide and jewlers rouge and finally gave up. Unline polishing a scratch out of acrylic, anything hard enough to cut down the glass, is just going to scratch it even more.

our hobby is glass, yet ive never heard of anyone going to the trouble, not when its cheap enough to buy a replacement piece if needed.
