I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this topic. Rob, is there anyway you can get an interview with Iwan Laesser from Switzerland. His tank is obviously the new benchmark for reef tanks, yet such simple design when compared to most American tanks. It would be nice to have the perspective and knowledge of someone as successful as he has been. If you are able to get an interview with him, then let me know and I will help you compile a list of questions.

i have been looking over the site, but its hard to understand the info as its in german...lol i did run a translator, but it doesnt translate very well.. ;)

His thread on RC makes it sound like he speaks English, but not fluently.

maybe the interview can be done in German by someone like RB and then translated into English as one piece. this would sidestep the time required to listen to both the original lanquage and the translation in sequence.

I wasn't assuming that he doesn't speak English (wouldn't want to offend in that way!), but I seem to remember that he someone translating his thread at RC (maybe I'm wrong here). At any rate, if it's needed, I can help...

never thought you would offend anyone or is not geniune in your desire to help. i just pointing out that so many europeans are multilinguistic. almost everyone i ran into from europe is so much more capable of english than i would have expected.

We host high school exchange students from around the world. Most European students have studied at least 2 foreign languages and many have studied more. Here in the US people are impressed if you can speak anything else besides English!

believe me...I know...here in Sweden, they speak like natives. It's unbelievable! :-)

We hosted a Swedish girl from Goteborg for a few weeks over the Christmas holidays. When we took her to Ohio with us most people at my parents church didn't realize she was an exchange student.

well now that we know she is fluent in english and german, and the fact that she is not even swedish leads a lot to the imagination. hmmmm.....she from colorado, huh?.....how convenient.....who knows anyone from colorado?
