Hey Guys!! I love acans and wanted to see the different colors that everyone has. Post them up!! here is my little colony of them...of course they are all frags but ya gotta start somewhere right! The rainbow ones on the right started with only 2 heads, I now have 5 heads!

That would be awesome, of course once I get a frag of something you like I would have to return the favor. :D

Keep your MACNA goal in mind Ray. You will be richly rewarded with that adventure. I see you are making progress. Keep up the good job. You know many of your TR family will be in Orlando for MACNA. You wouldn’t want to miss meeting them in person. And, I for one, want to meet you.

We have to work on Lori to sign up. That would be the great!

I certainly have that is why I have no money. lol When ever I get money I put it in a envelope in my gun safe and forget about it so in reality I have no money to spend. :) By using this method helps me a lot and I never spend it unless an emergency.

I’m sure he would accept and appreciate both. :agree:

Interesting Acan story...

I bought an Acan a couple of years ago. One day, probing behind my LR wall, My fingers detected fleshy rock. Carefully, I worked the The piece up and out of the LR. Much to my surprise it was that Acan which I had totally forgotten about. Here it is...

Absolutely have no idea how long it was “lost”. It was healthy, just totally bleached out. It was gone missing long enough that I forgot what color it was. I know what your thinking, Old Timer’s disease. :rotfl: You could be right.

Here it is today, recovered, colored up and showing considerable growth. The pictures are about a year apart.

A good friend of mine has an online store and I was over at his house today. I saw these acans and was just WOWED! I didn't have my camera with me but here is the link from his store.

Dick wow man that is incredible! I was once told that acans are probably the most hardy coral out there...
