i bought a small frag.....it looks like it is doing pretty well......but on the underside of the rock it is attached to there is glove coral growing (i think).....can i leave it there until it gets bigger & then try to remove it?.....there is 2 single polyps on one side and then 2 polyps together on another side

also, when trying to frag those, the glove, is glue used?

CORAL GLUE is a brand name. if you cannot find it, get superglue gel. i would in my opinion remove the glove polyps first...it grows very fast and may smother your capricornis...or block out light.

okay, i will remove tomorrow.....thanks, i knew they would grow fast, but figured it wasn't a big deal

i agree, i have found that Montipora species tend to be more submissive, so when in contact with other corals, the Montiporas usually loose...

better safe than sorry.. :)
