tentacle questions

A couple of questions about anemone tentacles. Ones that have been nipped off (bad clown) will they grow out, stay short, regain colored tip? Do new tentacles "sprout ' randomly? I see some 'nodes' I wonder if they are the start of new tentacles. Sorry if the questions seem ridiculous, Ive never had an anemone. I looked all over the internet and really didnt find the answer.

I don't know if nipped tentacles will regrow or not but your anemone will grow more. I have also had tentacles shrivel up and disappear too.
