BTA Dying?

So my new BTA I've had a week moved to the back of the reef during the 1st night. I've placed a powerhead blowing on him all week but it refused to move. Today I come home from work and the only tentacles remaining are the 1st row on the outer edges but there are no tentacles anywhere else. Is it dying? I turned the powerhead off and hope maybe it will eventually recover.

it might just be expelling waste water from the system it was in, and replenishing with new tank water. they do this from time to time. i would give it a few days to a week and then see how it is doing. mine just did this last week.
