Someone got a new friend.

About 5 seconds after placing the anemone in the tank the clown found it. Hasn't left it alone since.







The only reason I got the clown is because it was hosting a bubble coral I bought. My wife thought it was so cute. Well after being in my tank the clown would have nothing to do with the bubble coral. Now my clown is happy, my wife is happy which makes me happy.

make sure you monitor that anemone until it settles in a good spot, having it moving around the glass like that can be very dangerous to its health

wow your so lucky, i have a rbta and 2 perculas for about a month and the percs never interacted with the rbta. in fact my clowns never ever went near my rockwork and just like to stay out in the open. ive tried a few things, even feeding the anemone hoping the clowns would go in after the food but it failed. im just hoping the swim by the anemone and rub him by accident and find out that it feels good....

Thanks. I was really hoping the clown would host. I was worried it would take awhile or not happen at all.

Rob, I place the anemone on the back wall. As soon as I pulled my hand out of the tank the clown was on it. It started to move around the glass probably trying to get away from the clown. Now it's on the front right side (now that I think of it thats were it was on the LFS's tank) and has been there for a few hours. Should I try moving it to the back again or just leave it be.

you can move it if you want, but its probably best to just keep a close eye on it and see if it moves on its own.

if you do attempt to move it, place it on the rocks as opposed to on the glass
