We are a marine products company that has developed a level of expertise in the production of microalgae and live feeds. Our experience ranges in scale from bench to 40 acres, and aquaculture projects ranging from abalone to shrimp.
Over the past years we have developed a product called PhycoPure which is an 8 species blend of microalgae with zooxanthellae, clades A and/or B. It is cultured in natural ocean water that has been ozonated, carbon filtered and uv sterilized. It is produced fresh weekly and contains no preservatives. In addition, we offer a variety of microalgae and rotifer starter cultures commonly used in aquaculture. We have recently begun to offer a decapsulated brine product (making the use of brine very clean and easy, an amazing product).
Our more recent focus has been in the collection, isolation, and production of traditional as well as new copepod species (both benthic harpacticoids and pelagic calanoids) for use in finned fish aquaculture.

i cant even say how exciting this partnership is... these products are SO useful. i think the biggest issue is that many people dont realize how important and helpful they really are..

Regarding decapsulated brine in general, I have seen people add a teaspoon to their tank..where the eggs are consumed by corals and the eggs that are not, hatch to feed fish. Others pour some into a cup and virtually watch the hatch. The important issue with decapsulating brine cysts is getting rid of any deletarious bacteria and fungus assopciated with the cyst wall, and the hatch rate is supposedly improved...They are stored in a concentrated brine solution so be aware of this when feeding directly to a tank, but they store for months in the refrig.

Sorry...there is alot that is not on the website. We have been busy with expanding and product development and have not paid attention to the website. This will change very soon. Please don't hesitate to ask specific questions about the products.
We are expanding our collection of copepods, both calanoids(pelagic) and harpacticoids(benthic) and have recently added a decapsulated brine product.
What do you want the algae for? Nanno is popular but I like the T. iso (Tahitian isochrysis), because of its nutritional properties, and its ability to grow well at warm temps(18to 28C).

Algae? Well, after watching Rob's vidcast and seeing that it's not a big science to grow my own phytocultures, I'd like to get started with it in a few months. But, since I'm a newbie to phytocultures, I have no idea which of the strains would be a good one to start out with. I think I read on the website that it's not good to grow mixed cultures, because the "weed-like" algaes would take over. Is this right? or are there some mixes that do alright together?
In general many species co-exist in nature but specific species will bloom to the point of preventing others from doing the same. The cultures will grow real well if kept as a monoculture. I have seen tanks with 2-3 species cultured at the same time, the cells are healthy but the densities are weak.
A tough species is Nannochloropsis and may be a good one to start with but a species such as T. iso is really nutritious, and not too d
