Rob,

Thanks for that grim peice. It sucks to hear about this, its the pink elephant in the room we all ignore. We have to do something, make an conscious effort to change and not wait for the next person to do it because they never will. Environmental issues cross all religions, cultures, races, sexual orientations, political affilliations, etc. We all need to pay attention, do our part. I know I need to step up, conserve energy, recylce more, reduce what I consume...but lets face it we are a society and world of consumption.

Sorry to sound the chimes of doom, but its going to happen sooner or later.
