led concept

went shopping today looking for some bits and pieces for the led project!
i was thinking along these lines.......> when the timer turns the main lights off, the light bracing is lifted to a specified height by an electric motor with overrun switches at each end, using a modified rail that can retract along the tanks supports it brings out a few rows of leds to cover 3/4 the tank length, suspended down an inch or so. the tank motors should be able to be hooked up to a timer as well as a IR controller to lift it on demand when u need access to the tank to clean ect.
im going to try the hobby shop for some inspiration on the rail guards. motor gadget central!

saw these while looking for some cable tires, haven't seen them before, but that proberly means they have been around for years!
