I've had my Longnose Hawkfish (Hawkboy) for about 4 months now. He hasn't touched any hermits, but my large pepermint shrimp that I had for a year, vanished about 2 months after I added the hawkfish. I never saw the hawkfish go near him, but my guess is he's the culprit. I figured the Peppermint was large enough that he'd be safe. I usually only feed once a day, but feed a good amount. The Hawkfish has grabbed some good size pieces (about 1/4" of krill and silversides meant for my Sabae Anemone. Looked funny seeing him swim all over with this large chunk of food in his mouth. He manages to work it into smaller pieces that he can eat.
