I should add, they have been known to leap to the floor on occasion.
Anytime you mix predator and prey you take a chance. If you can get the Long Nose to eat what you are feeding (not too difficult to task) and feed him good you will probably be OK. You never know until you try and this seems like it would be a good fit.
