I saw your post on my tank build and wanted to give you some food for thought. That 18g tall you have may not be able to be drilled. Many of the smaller size tanks have all tempered glass, not just the bottom. I know for a fact the 10g tanks from wallyworld are tempered, that was messy. If you contact the manufacturer of the tank they can make sure the sides are not tempered, if they are tempered and you drill it you will have a pile of little glass squares everywhere. However, if you can drill it having everything outside your
