Sorry, couldn't recall how much detail was in that thread.

I got the glass bit from a seller on eBay, and the bulkeads from Drs. foster & Smith. I can find the exact bit and bulkheads if it's helpful, but you'll probably want to use larger ones than I did.

As far as drilling the holes themselves, I just used a hand held drill. I kept the bit and glass cool by spraying them down with a plastic spray bottle of RO/DI water. Niether the bit nor the glass ever got warm to the touch.

Probably the most helpful thing of all was the bit i got. It was a regular hole saw, but it had a diamond coated pilot bit as well so the hole saw didn"t skip around on the glass.
