i would check the websites of All Glass and Perfecto to see if it is one of their tanks (odds are it is). you would have to empty the water from the tank to install it, but there are not really any other options if you want to do it right.

if you want to "rig" it ... i would drill a few holes in both sections of the original brace, but some nylon bolts and nuts and throw at least a 3/8" strip of acrylic on it. like this ...
