question for acrylic guru's

I currently have 2 20 gallon rubbermade totes 1 functioning as a sump the other as my fuge. While there have been no major issues with them so far they aren't giving me the flexibility that I need. So I have decided to build my own custom sump/fuge combo. Since I have not been able to find a tank that fits my needs for size. I am wandering the thickness of acrylic recomended to build a "tank" 34"x18"x15". I would like to keep the bracing on the top to a minimum if possible.
