My first marine tank was a 24g NC deluxe and it was quite difficult in the first few months...I also started off talking to my
lfs(BAD BAD CHOICE)......The first few months we lost ALOT of fish mainly clownfish for unknown reasons, we checked our levels and everything was normal. A few months later we bought an engineer goby and by the 2nd day it had swam over the back wall and was shot out in several pieces through the powerhead, then a month or so after that our blue tang(2 1/2") decided to take a swim back there also and it took me over an hour to dig everything out to get her. SO we went and picked up filter mesh and had to silicone it to the hood of the tank so nothing else could swim back there...They do stay alot hotter than any of our other tanks.
But it is still my favorite tank.
I wouldnt however reccomend it for a starter tank.
