| No. This may be an interesting addition to your camera but it is not Macro. You will see the word Macro on a lens that is capable of Macro shots.
I use "close-up rings" on my Nikon D70 lens which isn't as good as a Macro lens but a whole lot cheaper. The Macro lens I'd like is $500+, the rings were $70 if I'm not mistaken. You might want to look into those.
