I have a comment about changing salts.
IMO if you have your parameters matched and do a 10% water change the difference in salt will be a pretty minor difference in your tank. Even a 20% water change would be a pretty small difference in your tank.
I have noticed that salt seems to change in potency not only from bucket to bucket but from the beginning to the end of the bucket. No matter the brand it seems to require more salt to equal the same SpG over time. I have always thought that even thought I keep the lid on the bucket and the bag tied up this was due to the salt absorbing moisture from the air.
