I personally use both caulerpa and cheato in separate area of my
fuge. I keep it lit 24/7 and prune the caulerpa regularly and have never had a problem with it going sexual. That doesn't mean I couldn't have a problem tomorrow but I think the lighting and pruning vastly limit the chances. I think that caulerpa grows faster than cheato.
