What you most likely have is an aquacultured clown. When fish are inbred things like missing bars, half bars and various other variations occur. It is normal in the sense that it's showing genetic mismatch of being bred to brothers, sisters, cousins maybe even bred back to it's father or mother. Is it OK? Yes it's probably OK. It just shows what man's ability is to screw things up. Pun intended.
