This might take a long time. I have a few rics that have been having 2 mouth for about 6 month and never split. There is a guy locally that sell Rics, he splits his with a razor every 2 month. And the survival rate seems to be very good. In fact all the ones I have gotten from him are all thriving minus one
bleached one.
