| Yes, it is an aussie, Amphiprion ocellaris (Black and White Australian clownfish). He is 3 years old now. I once had a mated pair. Sadly one died after 18 months - vanished without trace. Now 'Herbert" is alone - I keep thinking of getting him another mate, perhaps one day I shall. He defends that sarcrophyton alcyonidae leather vigorously though is otherwise a good citizen of the tank. He once lived in a large RBTA (rose bubble tip anemone with his mate "Martha"). Sadly, my RBTA collection (i had 5 at one point, 4 offspring and their mother) perished along with most of the tank v2. A lesson in regular maintenance, water changes and keeping up with trace element additon and patience. |
