i use my kill a watt all the time too
lol. my wife thinks im possesed. it's pretty interesting to see the watts being used when you think they are shut off. my tv and dvr were runing 58 watts when shut off. i guess the tv just goes into a standby mode for fast startup. im in the process of wiring some switches to a couple of my outlets so i can kill the power to the entertainment center.
