I have a millennium 2000 filter on the QT tank. I took the media filter out of it and really just use it to aerate the water. I thought the media filter had carbon pellets in it. It does have a removable bio grid which i left in. Figured that the bio grid wouldn't hurt. I am doing daily water changes, 10-20%. But the only trouble is when doing that kind of daily water change keeping the copper levels elevated since I am replacing so much water daily. I am using CFX Parasite Terminator copper. the bottle suggests keeping copper levels @ .15 ppm for 17 to 21 days and for flukes keep it .3 ppm for 17 days.
