Help with canister filters

Hello all, a brief bit about me, I have a new 105 gallon tank, 210lbs of LR and 100lbs of LS, the tank has a 1.5" drain and 2 3/4" returns, I run the ASM G1X in the 20 gallon sump and a genx 6000 for a return pump. Now all is fine except the fine particals in the tank! I know I need to run a filter to polish this but am having trouble choosing one that is right for me and the job at hand. I have looked at several canister type but I have not been able to choose one for my tank set up. I need this filter to draw and return water to the sump. The question I have is, do canister type filters have thier own pick up pumps? I know that the FLUVAL line require a siphon to work, but I am not sure if all are the same, I do like the sounds of the new canister out from marineland, the c-360 and would buy it in a heart beat if I knew for sure I could stand it on the floor beside the sump and draw water from the sump for the filter...any help and or advice would be great. The DT and the sump are both acrylic so hanging anything from them is almost impossible.
