You should be able to mix and match
PVC fittings and vinyl barbs to get to the size tubing you want. They should all use the same Male/female pipe threads (MPT/FPT) to make the job easier. You may end up having to use a lot of adapters, but it should be doable with out using brass. I have yet to see something in brass that you cant get in plastic.
