| I want to make a 150 gal reef ready tank but have couple questions I really want to make a 150 gal reef ready tank. BUT this what I want to do. I want to buy a standard 150 gal tall. The 48 inch long tank( I don't remember all of the dimensions). I want to make an overflow or buy one that would work for this tank. And drill the hole myself. I can find these tanks alot cheaper than a tank that is reef ready. I can glue the overflow in place and I can handle drilling into glass. I do know that you need a special drill bit but that's no big deal. Has anyone ever done this here before? Where can I get the overflows for this tank or can someone tell me how to make them. And all I mean by that is how tall do they need to be, do I need two for this size tank or will one do.Can I just follow the cut out dimensions from my 50 gal Oceanic tank? |
