| i have not seen a 96" fixture. i think they only make them up to 72". you may have to go with 2 48" fixtures and suspend them from the ceiling.
the stand looks like it would work out fine to me, but you may want to add another center support brace and move the other one down a little (create 3 same length sections). like this ...
