blennies like to jump, so just make sure you have a grating or a cover over the tank. I've lost two from jumping out! My mandarin as well!

I would recommend two clowns for a nano. they're usually hanging out in the host and enjoyable to watch, whereas many other small fish are darting/hiding all the time.

also a goby/pistol shrimp pair is a pretty cool combo to have in a nano
