| 12 gallon cubes haven't had quite as many issues, and cubes made after 2005 have also had fewer problems. The cracking is generally delayed, mine appeared 2 years after it was first setup. . The cracking was probably induced by the sunpod, as it weighs slightly more than the stock hood.
